The Village of Lincoln Commemorates the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War

The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War are direct descendants of Civil War veterans.  They also allow participation for Associate Members who do not have a direct lineage.  They are committed volunteers who have re-enacted Civil War scenes, have held Memorial Dedications at cemeteries where Civil War veterans are buried.

As our Village is named after President Abraham Lincoln we want to be actively involved in on-going annual celebrations and presentations involving our DDA, the  VFW and Boys Scouts of Alcona County and all that will like to help our efforts in promoting Lincoln especially during the next four commemorative years.
