Putsky and Joan Gehres from the beautification committee came in to
inform everyone about underground water flooding a couple of the new
trees in the streetscape. They noticed the very wet soil as they were
working with the flowers.
Call to Order: Meeting called to
order by Vice President D Kruttlin at 5:31 p.m. and he led the group
through the Pledge of Allegiance.
Minutes: E Monnier motioned to
accept the minutes for the March meeting. E Good gave support and
minutes were accepted.
Treasurerís report: B Ankner
motioned to accept the Treasurerís report subject to audit. K Godi
gave support, all agreed, report accepted.
Directorís Report: Items in the previously transmitted
Directorís Report were discussed in relative detail.
Old Business: none
New Business: The members of the DDA board were asked to
personally donated to the FFA Scholarship Fund and all obliged.
The Kohlers asked if the DDA would like to purchase the old flower
shop. The board would require phase 1 and phase 2 environmental
studies prior to discussing purchase.
Phil Jordan received a quote for restoration of the 3 welcome to
Lincoln signs. All three can be restored for $5,000.
The Village named a new street administrator, Phil Jordan! He will
be the watchdog for the streets of Lincoln for cracks, potholes,
