The Soup and Chili Cookoff provided warmth on a chilly, blustry day. Many families come out to partake of the generosity of our businesses and friends. The Village of Lincoln and the Downtown Development Authority provided a wonderful day for the children and families in our community.
Enthusiastic participants gave out candy and other treats from the trunks of their vehicles to an abundance of Trick or Treaters.
Many
businesses provided an array of soups and chili in the cookoff as well
as treats in front of / or in their businesses -- as well
as participated in the Decorating Contest.
Decorating Contest Winners were: 1st place -- Water Works, 2nd place -- Cozy Cabin, 3rd place -- Curves for Women.
Soup Category Winners were: 1st place -- Teresa Hart, 2nd place -- Our Place, 3rd place --Huron Community Bank.
Chili Category Winners wer: 1st place Lincoln Precision (Kirk Sherwood), 2nd place -- Heather's House of Hair, 3rd place -- Lincoln Pharmacy.
Alcona Motors even provided music by a string instrument trio for entertainment in their front lobby.
