Guest Agenda: Tom Dorr,
Director’s Report: Bob Jones introduced Tom Door, retired undersecretary of USDA to provide information (helpful hints) to obtain USDA grant funding for a feasibility study for the different aspects of energy production. Mr. Dorr had a 2-1/2 hr power point presentation on what we need to do and what is needed for a meaningful grant application.
Dave James contacted GDF/SUEZ, the owner of Viking Energy, and they will support the sale of thermal energy until 2018 to any viable businesses in the industrial park.
Axel Ewald is still interested in opening a cabinet making facility in Lincoln. He needs a 16,000 sq ft bldg. and wants to know what it will cost. He needs to submit design so we can get a price.
Old Business: Teresa Hart turned in $557 to DDA Treasurer. This was income from the fall festival.
Motion made by D. Gillies to adjourn. 2nd by E. Good. All approved. Motion passed.
