Construction removing the old street paving, curbing and sidewalks on Second Street has begun on July 6, 2011. Don Read is the Observer for the Architect throughout this project. Consumers Energy has set up a new power pole on Fiske Street. Underground power lines have been placed and routed placed behind the businesses on Second Street which will make the street more athsethically pleasing to eye once the old lines and poles are removed.
